We then clear coat all of our pieces to protect the finish. Please click on each item below for more information. Southwest coffee table $700.00 Mirror $300.00 Our western coffee table (to the left) is certain to evoke an array of emotions. The dark red patina, typical of naturally oxidized iron, brings to mind the warmth and comfort from something familiar and well worn. The ends of the table depict a cowboy aboard a really rank bronc, tapped off, and right in the middle of him, the cowboy is fanning the bronc with his hat, daring him to buck harder. Finally the stars in the side, similar to the badges worn by many of the West's marshals, surrounded by .45 caliber Peacemakers, hammers cocked to the ready, then topped off with an 1892 Winchester 30-30 lever action much like the one immortalized by Rooster Cogburn in that high mountain meadow. One can almost put themselves there with "Baby Sister" and the Ranger on the ridge above the meadow as Rooster faces off with Lucky Ned Pepper and his gang. A Winchester in his right hand, .45 caliber pistol in his left, split reins in his teeth, "Fill your hands ...." as men and horses run headlong at each other, spraying lead. Grit they called it, and we think this table will be an ever present reminder of the grit that made this country what it is today.
