CHRISTIANSEN RANCH ORNAMENTAL IRON

    Our 26 Bar brand, registered to Christiansen Ranch in Kansas is in honor of a great American icon, John Wayne. Wayne purchased the famed Milky Way Ranch, also known as the 26 Bar, in Eagar, Arizona and with his partner, Louis Johnson, operated the ranch for many years as a purebred Hereford operation.
    Christiansen Ranch is located near Fontana, Kansas near the Marais des Cygnes River in southeast Kansas.
    Avid team ropers for many years, our son Kyle, (pictured here with PRCA World Champion Team Roper, Kollin VonAhn after they roped together at the American Royal), still competes regularly. We have a special appreciation for the animals that enrich our lives, the good horses that we have been blessed with and the special friends we have made along the way.
